I didn't start in tech. I started at the bedside.
My career began as a caregiver in Arizona's assisted living homes—bathing residents, managing medications, and learning firsthand what it means to show up for people who depend on you.
Over time, I worked my way up to manager. And that's when I discovered the real crisis: there was no system. Compliance deadlines lived on sticky notes. Certifications were tracked in spreadsheets—if they were tracked at all. I'd lie awake at night wondering if I'd missed something that could put my residents at risk.
I wished for something that would just remind me—an email, a text, anything—so I wouldn't have to carry it all in my head. That tool didn't exist. So I started building my own, first as coded Excel sheets that could send me email alerts.
That's when it hit me: most assisted living homes across Arizona were still relying on the same outdated methods. Paper binders. Handwritten logs. Hope and memory.
So I built CareDash Pro—not just email and SMS reminders, but a full platform with AI built in to help managers search, compare, ask questions, and stay on top of everything without drowning in paperwork.
I went on to manage two homes for Kyle Scott and Gabriella Strate. Even as a first-time manager, I never received a single deficiency—because I had this system working behind me every day.
Now I've made it accessible for every care home owner and manager who refuses to let paperwork get in the way of great care.
